What is a Wunschbaum?
Wunschbaum literally translates to "wish tree," and in this rare case, the literal translation is actually spot-on. Led by the German American Cultural Foundation, we asked teachers from the German School of Atlanta, instructors at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, and the GACF sponsored German teacher at DM Therrell High School to wish for items that could benefit them in the classroom (virtual for now, but also always holding on to the hope to return to in-person again soon).
